MSFCA Event Health Acknowledgment

 

Please be sure to review any advisories, restrictions, and guidelines that may be in place for travel to any MSFCA (Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association) event or large gathering.

 DO NOT attend MSFCA events and gatherings, if you or your accompanying guest:

  • Are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. Symptoms may include:
    • Fever or chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
  • Are under any self-quarantine orders

If at any point during your attendance you or your guest meet this criteria, both of you will be required to isolate and may be relocated or asked to leave the property. 

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place or gathering. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to serve illness and death. According to the CDC, senior citizens and individuals with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By attending a MSFCA event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and further acknowledge that you understand and will follow all health and safety protocols established by the MSFCA and the event facility. Failure to abide by all health and safety protocols implemented for the event is grounds for being asked to leave the event without refund.

If you are not fully vaccinated, it is recommend by the CDC you wear a mask while participating in ANY indoor gatherings (i.e. vendor show, classroom activities, programs, and breaks).
